God took all the treasures of heaven and put them in Christ (Col 2:9) and Christ Placed all these treasures in an earthen vessels (2Cor2:7). We are the earthen vessels with heavenly treasures, though the earthen  vessels may crack but the treasures inside is capable of preserving the vessel, with these heavenly treasure in us we do not need to wait for God to Act, rather God is waiting for us to Act (take action).
Now is the time to Arise and do exploits, Close the mouth of lions, quench the violence of fire, raise the dead back again, valiant in battle chasing thousands to flight etc. And the manifold blessings of God will be on you and overtake you now and in the world to come. Amen.

When Jesus was challenged financially to pay his bill, He settled it with a miracle. (Math.17:24-27). Today, I declare let every unsettled bills and financial demands hanging in your life be settled by a miraculous favor in the name of Jesus.

Peter was once a professional fisherman but catching a fish with money is strange to his senses.
He wondered as he move towards the sea by the word of the Lord.

When the word of the lord comes to you believe,
His word cannot be limited by natural barriers, even the laws of nature are suspended when the word is at work..
His word cannot return back void once it is spoken.
He sent forth his word.. (Psm107:20)
Before peter could get to the sea, the word (Rhema) went ahead, locate a fish, formed the exact original currency without printing machine, and the exact amount needed.. During miracle Night service This woman was healed from a painful blockage in her abdomen  and severe pain over her body. She felt something move out of her body as the power of God hit her. She came into the service with these sickness and was healed during prayer and ministration. All Glory to God.

This sister was declared to go through operation by her doctor due to high blood pressure (180+) to enable her deliver her child safely. Before her labour time began all medical effort to calm her BP. Proves abortive. During her labour time when the BP is so high and the doctor has prepared the theater to carry out the operation even part of the bill ( for the operation) has been paid. Then we prayed in the hospital before she went in, i gave her the word of God and what the revealed, "  You will put to bed in peace without operation , you are carrying your child without complications...." She believed . As she went in, the doctor was surprised before he could start the baby is already coming out, the HIGH BP COULD NOT STOP GOD, so she put to bed safely without operation and carry her child without complications. Text : Colossians 3:9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
Colossians 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him--

There  are two kinds of man in a man's life. Controlling the entire course of your life. The old man and the new man. One has power over the other depending on state of the man.
the old man is Satan's point of contact. We have this message in two sub topic :

1. PUTTING OFF THE OLD MAN. 

The old man is the old life..
The old man is the body of sin...
The old man represents  the old conversation...
It doesn't care who you are, it subject to bondage of different kinds as long as you allow him to exist..
It carry along with it every form of failures, disappointment, life of problems.
He makes you not to take your Christian faith seriously..
It steal your hunger for
It kills your zeal for God, love for God, faith in God filling you with every doubt, reasons and excuses.
A man who live like this doesn't receive anything from God. And doesn't go far in life.



Ephesians 4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

The power of the old man is broken on the cross. When our sins were placed on him.

2. PUT ON THE NEW MAN. 
The first step to destroy the old man and its works in your body is to
Embrace the new man and its life.

Colossians 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

Ephesians 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

the new man is the new life in Christ.
The New man is renewed in the knowledge of God.
The New man is created in the image and likeness of God. Gen 3:
The image of God is the image of righteousness and true holiness.
Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

1. Be in Christ. LIVING THE CHRISTIAN LIFE.
ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST INTO YOUR LIFE.
THE OLD MAN IS POWERLESS WERE CHRIST DOMINATES.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

2. STUDY THE BIBLE., PRACTICE GOD 's WORD.
The bible is God's written word, it's our source of faith.
1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

3. WAIK BY FAITH, AND BE PRAYERFUL.
2 Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Romans 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.


4. REJOICE PUBLICLY AND RESIST TEMPTATION.
Give your testimony for Christ and tell others what he has done for you.
St. Matthew 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
St. Matthew 10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
Temptation is not sin, it is yielding to temptation that is sin.


5. RENDER TO GOD THINGS THAT BELONGS TO GOD.

start tithing and render your income to support God's work in the church.

Malachi 3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

6.REGULARLY ATTEND A CHURCH FELLOWSHIP.
Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

The Acts 20:7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.

FROM ORDINARY MEN TO ETRA-ORDINARY MEN. 

The Acts 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.


When Jesus wanted to choose His first 12 disciples, He did not choose the best men in the school of rabbi nor men of formal education , they were not Men of class but ordinary fisher Men, local men and tax collector, etc. BUT WHEN THEY MET JESUS THEY WERE TRANSFORMED BY HIS WORDS AND BECAME DISCIPLES AND WHEN THE HOLY GHOST FIRE CAME UPON THEM, THEY BECAME APOSTLES . My new interview series features the best encouragement on managing emotions from noted Christian authors.

Our first inspirational interview is with Athena Dean Holtz. A Christian publisher, speaker, author, blogger, radio personality and pastor's wife, Athena's latest book is Full Circle: Coming Home to the Faithfulness of God.

1. What are your favorite Scriptures that help you manage your emotions and why?

• "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with gratitude, make your requests known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will protect your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus" (Phil. 4:6-7)
• "May all my enemies be ashamed and greatly terrified; may they turn back and be suddenly ashamed" (Ps. 6:10).

Both of these Scriptures provide next steps in order for us to focus on Christ to manage our emotions. Each one gives us something to do.

Instead of being anxious, pray with thanksgiving, trusting Him to answer those prayers and take care of the situation that is causing us to be anxious.

As we obey Him in this small step, His peace guards our hearts and minds. Although the situation may not change, He is faithful to teach us to trust Him for the outcome that will glorify Him best.

I know one of my weaknesses is to assume the worst. When my emotions start ruling my world, it's time to be still. To slow down. To focus on the one who loves me more than life itself.

As I do that, I am able to take my thoughts captive and remember that my God is sovereign. Nothing happens to me that He doesn't know about. I can trust Him.

2. What are three of your best tips to help others manage their emotions in godly ways?

• Understand that the enemy prowls around, like a roaring lion, seeking who he might devour. Put on your armor, every day.  Speak out loud as in the statements below:

Today, I put on the belt of truth. Lord, help me to speak only the truth today (Eph. 6:14).

I put on the breastplate of righteousness, that my heart might be right before You (Eph. 6:14).

I shod my feet in the gospel of peace, that I might go wherever You send me today (Eph. 6:15).

I lift up the shield of faith to protect me from every fiery darts of the evil one (Eph. 6:16).

I put on the helmet of salvation, which is the mind of Christ. Lord, let me have Your thoughts today (Eph. 6:17).

I take up the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, sharper than any two-edged sword. Help me to use that sword against every lie of the evil one that comes my way today (Eph. 6:17).

And I pray in the Spirit when I need to talk to You today (Eph. 6:18).

Thank You, Lord, that You don't leave me unprotected, but give me Your glory as a rear guard (Is.  58:8).

And so, I choose the will of God, and I refuse the will of Satan. (Is. 7:14-15).

Spirit of God, rule and reign in my life (Ps.51:10).

Rule and reign in my thoughts, my attitudes, my emotions, my feelings (2 Cor. 10:5).

In every area, Spirit of God, I seek first Your kingdom and give You permission to rule and reign (Matt. 6:33).

And I pray against every strategy of the evil one to rob my joy, faith and courage, and ask You to render every one of those unholy strategies ineffective, in the name of Jesus.

Amen (Eph. 6:10-13).

• Bathe yourself in worship music. He inhabits the praises of His people. Worshiping Him changes our perspective and softens our hearts towards Him.
• Surrender all your fears, doubts, anxieties, loneliness and every other negative emotion to Him. Tell Him how you feel. He already knows it, but He wants to hear you admit your struggle. Don't be afraid to lament. Cry out as David did, pour out your heart to Him, for He is your refuge (Ps. 62:8).

3. What sabotaging thoughts (lies) do Believers need to release that keep them in bondage to negative emotions? 

• Lie #1: God doesn't really care about you.
• Lie #2: You'll never measure up to what He expects.
• Lie #3: The world is a scary place and God isn't concerned with the details of your life

4. What are some things believers can do at the "moment of decision" when they are tempted to practice destructive behavior when emotionally upset?

• Bind every strategy of the unholy realm that would try to influence you towards destructive behavior, in Jesus' name.
• Loose the mind of Christ and His peace to flood your mind, will and emotions, in Jesus' name (Matt. 16:19).
• Turn on worship music and sing out loud.
• Surrender fully to God and ask Him to change your emotions and give you the mind of Christ.
