PROPHETIC EXPOSITION 2 : MORE SIGNS.

"WHAT SHALL BE THE SIGNS OF THY COMING.." Evang.Austin chinedu

And as he [Jesus] sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world (Matthew 24:3)

Fourth sign : PERSECUTION
KILLED FOR CHRIST SAKE.

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake (Matthew 24:9). Troubles, sorrows, persecutions await the children of God in different nations as they give their testimonies to win the lost at any cost. Some will be killed for the sake of Christ. Martyrdom may come to one you dearly love.

This last and final hour is a separating time. Persecution kept the Early Church separated from the world, purified in the beginning. They lived in the truth. Persecution separated the hypocrites from among them. Opening in the midst of persecution, the Church dispensation, no doubt, will close in the midst of much persecution, also. We have been warned by no less than Jesus. In different sections of the world today, people living for Jesus, spreading the Gospel, are been killed , slaughtered, sawed, speared.. Etc

If the Lord chooses some to die for His name’s sake, we cannot let that discourage us but propel us into greater zeal, greater love for the Kingdom. Let no persecution intimidate you.

Fifth Sign : OFFENCES AND BETRAYALS.

And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another (verse 10).

We see many christians offended with God every day, denying the faith in their actions and words, some Christians have turned to other religions, this is signs of the end Jesus warned us. Pastors are betraying one another, hatred have taken over the church, even among the unbelievers..
Many will be offended to the point they claim the persecutions of Christians are justified.

Sixth Sign: THE RISE OF FALSE PROPHETS.

And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold (Mathew 24:11,12).
Many false prophets and teachers are out in greater numbers than ever before, today many are being deceive and victimised..

Apostle Paul warns:

2 Corinthians 11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

Apostle peter warns:

2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

Apostle John also warned:
1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Sin, devilish schemes abound. Even now, the deceit of Satan is being spewed out on a large scale—evil, evil, evil. Not since the days of Noah and the days of Sodom and Gomorrah has so much sin abounded. Jesus foretold it all.

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved (verse 13). Those Spirit-filled Christians who endure to the end—the Rapture—will be caught away, taken up to be with Jesus. He will come for His children at His second coming.

Seventh Sign : WIDESPREAD OF THE GOSPEL.

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come (Matt24:14). This verse tells of the Gospel being preached to all nations before the end—the end of the Church dispensation. Jesus described signs to watch for prior to His second appearance, some events to expect in anticipation of His coming. He was very clear. Today the gospel has gone round the world by all means.

FOLLOW JESUS NOW....

The Bible tells us to follow Jesus, but do you really know how to do that? Listen and learn how to follow the Lord not only in word but in deed and in truth. / Just as eagles soar through the air with great freedom and liberty, children of God must learn how to soar above all the trials of this Earth and be lights to the whole world. Anything the devil brings against us must pale in comparison to the “go ye” we must have to win every soul we possibly can.

2. I revoke and destroy every curse of marital failure upon my life in the name of Jesus.

3. Point your finger to the earth and declare: O you earth, hear the word of the Lord, all my virtues, body organs (womb, heart, kidneys, male, organs) that have been buried in to you, release them to me now, in the name of Jesus.

4. Every verdict of failure at the edge of my breakthroughs, be cancelled in the name of Jesus.

PROPHETIC EXPOSITION: SIGNS OF HIS COMING.

"WHAT SHALL BE THE SIGNS OF THY COMING.."
THE CHURCH AGE (DISPENSATION) IS CLOSE TO THE END.

And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down(Matthew 24:1,2). Jesus prophesied the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem that took place in 70 A.D. Looking back in time to the fulfillment of that prophesy should let you know that all Jesus said would happen will take place.

               

The twenty-fourth chapter of Matthew, describing not only the destruction of the temple but also the second and third appearances of Christ, has intrigued and puzzled people throughout the ages. This penetrating prophecy of Jesus reaches down into the hour we now live in, and is being fulfilled in our day.

Two Important Questions

( Mathew 24:3)

And as he [Jesus] sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world (Matthew 24:3)? Here the disciples are asking Jesus two questions: what would be the sign of His coming and when the end would be. They already knew about His first appearance—they were witnessing it every day—and they wanted to know about the other two. He must have discussed His future comings with the disciples, for they seemed to have knowledge of them.

Signs of His coming precede the second appearance, the Rapture. At this appearance Jesus won’t come all the way to Earth, but the Bride will be caught up to Him by the power of the Holy Ghost. We which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds,to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord (I Thessalonians 4:15-17).

At His third appearance, Jesus will end the Battle of Armageddon, bringing to a close affairs on Earth as we know them today. Keep in mind, in this chapter the Lord is talking about two different appearances of Jesus, His second and third with their signs following. Not being able to separate the two has confused some people.

FIRST SIGN: DECEPTION

"FOR MANY SHALL COME IN MY NAME"

Matthew 24:4-5 "And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many."

The rate of deception is alarming in this our time, in some part of the nation some are claiming to be the Christ, drawing thousands of believers, The Lord is warning of the deceiving doctrines to come. In our day as well as down through the years, many false doctrines have been put forth.

Jesus warned us of false Christ and many shepherds that will come in his name, they shall be many and shall deceive many. TAKE HEED AND DON'T BE DECEIVED.

SECOND SIGN: WARS, FAMINE, DISEASES AND EARTHQUAKE.

Matthew 24:6-8 "And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet."

" For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places."

"All these are the beginning of sorrows."

   

These are the four endtime  global weapons of Satan he uses to increase the rate of death, turning the heart of men against God, when food is taken away from men they become Beast, in the whole world there is economic crash, everyone is trying to survive by all means necessary.

Almost in all nations of the world there is war going on..

Today We have increasing numbers of earthquake in 

Japan, chile, indonesia, south africa, india, italy, nepal, califonia ,new zealand etc

We have the highest records of killer diseases like, 

 Cirrhosis, Tuberculosis, AIDs, Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, EBOLA, etc.

The beginning of these sorrows are signs of the second appearance of Jesus. Famines rage in different parts of the world; deadly earthquakes and those of lesser intensity are frequently in the news. Killer storms bring great havoc. AIDS is on the rise world-wide. Other diseases have broken out in epidemic form in various places. Many trials and disasters go into the beginning of sorrows, the beginning of the suffering, hearthache and despair that is coming on the earth.

Jesus, in Luke 21:26, describes a time of men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth. People oppressed by world conditions will be stricken with heart attacks.

God’s people are not to be troubled over the signs of the age. Our concern must be for the harvest of souls, the lost. Wars and rumors of wars can never be allowed to take precedence over the task God has entrusted to us: winning the lost. Let nothing steal that goal out of your heart, mind and thoughts. Seeing the signs come to pass that Jesus talks of in this chapter, we know the end is drawing near. #AustinChinedu.

WE WALK BY FAITH. PART2.
SELF LIFE VS DIVINE LIFE.
By faith we walk in the newness of life God has place in us through christ Jesus.
Through faith we see beyound the physical realm and temporal things , we see the deep things of God and come to reality( full knowlegde) of What God has freely given to us by his Spirit in christ.
By faith we receive revelation from God of what christ has done for us and through faith we experience what he had revealed to us in our lives. A christian without this revelation will continue to operate in the sense realm and at this realm it is impossible to please God. (Heb 11:6). Revelation precedes faith.
By faith we offer to God worship (sacrifice of praise, offerings and gifts) excellent and acceptable to God because they are mixed with faith.( Heb 11:4).
God did not accept cain offering not because he offered what is not good but he offered without faith. The offering of Abel made God to bear witness and testify before the host of heaven about Abel declaring him righteous.( Mystery of faith). Today , to obtain a good testimony we must live by faith. (Heb 11: 2, Rom 1:17) Self life is adamic life, Divine life is a faith life. God bless you.

Though it has not fully manifest but faith is the EVIDENCE that you have it. You began to live, walk, talk, praise as though you have it, Calling those things that don't exist as though they are ..As Knowledge is Power,  so faith is the evidence.
Faith is total reliance and trust in the Son of God, upon His power,His  Word and His Love - Our union with Christ.
We come to God with nothing and yet receiving and possessing all things, possessing all His benefits, pardon, justification, purification, life, peace, riches and glory. This is the work of faith. When we walk by faith we experience the works of faith.

ENCOUNTER WITH HOLINESS.
God is integrity. He does not merely act with integrity; integrity is his character. But what about us? The biblical virtue of integrity points to a consistency between what is inside and what is outside, between belief and behavior, our words and our ways, our attitudes and our actions, our values and our practice.

The Dis-integration of Isaiah

When the prophet Isaiah had a vision of the glorious and awesome Creator of the universe, he was overwhelmed by the holiness of God.

In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him were seraphs, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two the covered their feet, and with two they were flying. And they were calling to one another:

"Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.”

At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke.

"Woe to me!” I cried. "I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.”

Then one of the seraphs flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. With it he touched my mouth and said, "See this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.”

Isaiah 6:1-7

R.C. Sproul comments on Isaiah's encounter with the holiness of God:

To be undone means to come apart at the seams, to be unraveled. What Isaiah was expressing is what modern psychologists describe as the experience of personal disintegration. To disintegrate means exactly what the word suggests, "dis integrate.” To integrate something is to put pieces together in a unified whole.... The word integrity...[suggests] a person whose life is whole or wholesome. In modern slang we say, "He's got it all together.”2

Isaiah says, "I'm undone. I'm torn apart,” which is just the opposite of integrity. To have integrity is to be integrated, to be whole, to have it all together in a sense, to be consistent. Isaiah finds himself torn apart, and this forces him to realize his own deficiency. When faced with the awesome holiness of God, Isaiah becomes aware of his own uncleanness. Throughout the Bible, man's encounters with God are very consistent in this way.

For example, when Peter realizes the power of Jesus he falls to his knees and says, "Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!” (Luke 5:8) Peter knows that what has just happened is not natural; it is, in fact, supernatural. This is not the way things work, but instead of saying, "How did he do that?” he says, "Depart from me, I'm a sinful man.” Peter is not only aware of Jesus' power, but of holiness and his own sinfulness. An encounter with holiness is traumatic. The holiness of God becomes a standard to which we can never measure up, and this is traumatic for people who so desperately want to fool themselves into thinking they are self-sufficient.

In John 18, a cohort of 600 armed soldiers comes to arrest Jesus and have their own traumatic encounter with holiness:

Jesus, knowing all that was going to happen to him, went out and asked them, "Who is it you want?”

"Jesus of Nazareth,” they replied.

"I am he,” Jesus said. (And Judas the traitor was standing there with them.) When Jesus said, "I am he,” they drew back and fell to the ground.

John 18:4-6

Six hundred soldiers fall to the ground, and the word that is used implies that they were sort of held there, pinned to the ground. There are many speculations as to what exactly happened, but it appears as if the veil of his flesh lifted, and that pre-incarnate glory that he had before the foundation of the world was opened up for a microsecond. It was sufficient to overwhelm them. R. Kent Hughes, in his commentary Behold the Man suggests:

Jesus' answer was one of his last uses of the power by which he calmed the seas, stilled the winds, and healed the sick. The cohort didn't arrest Jesus - he arrested them. His words were a gracious warning that they were in over their heads.3

They must have known something wasn't quite right. Six hundred armed men are now more afraid than the one they came looking for.

Throughout the Bible, men discover just how traumatic an encounter with holiness is. The transfiguration scared Peter so much he didn't know what to say (Mark 9:6). John, on the isle of Patmos, sees Jesus and is so overwhelmed he "fell at his feet as though dead” (Revelation 1:17). This is the same John who had leaned on Jesus in the upper room (John 13:25). John would often sit next to Jesus. There was an intimate bond between them. But when he saw that holiness, he was overwhelmed. The conversion of Saul on the road to Damascus (Acts 9:4), Moses' reaction to the burning bush (Exodus 3:6), Joshua's interaction with the commander of the army of the Lord (Joshua 5:14), Jacob's response after his dream at Bethel (Genesis 28:17), Gideon realizing he's been interacting with the angel of the Lord (Judges 6:22). The list goes on and on of people who are absolutely terrified and overwhelmed by the awe-inspiring holiness of God.

God's holiness is truly awesome, and our natural reaction to him is one of fear. But there is another side of his nature, his closeness to us, that somehow allows us to have this relationship with him. Jesus, the mediator between God and man, makes it possible for us to avoid being consumed by his awesome holiness, and instead to be declared righteous. That is amazing. The Living God is willing to say that you are righteous. How is that possible? It's because Christ himself is in us.

When we live our entire lives before the face of God (corem deo) and practice a constant abiding in his presence, we realize that being people who do not manifest integrity is inconsistent with the dignity and destiny we've been called to. We have been called to live on a higher plane than that, to "live a life worthy of the calling [we] have received” (Ephesians 4:1), because, now, Christ is in us. He wants to live his life through us (Galatians 2:20); we are not only his representatives (2 Corinthians 5:20), as members of his church we are, in some mysterious way, his body (Ephesians 1:23; Colossians 1:24).


Now, that's impossible unless he dwells in us, but therein lies the solution. In fact, this is the genius of the Christian life. Christianity is not a religion; it's a relationship. Christianity is not about rules and regulations. Instead, it is the presence and power of a person who indwells us and promises to never leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5).

This young man was healed from insanity (mental disorder) during our Mid year fasting and Prayer program. At night he often eat in his dream during the day he goes out to peoples house carrying their children away under manipulation,  they will beat him up, often times he will openly fall flat on the road as he is walking, but God healed him as Gods power came upon him he was delivered, free as he testify in the service.

God took all the treasures of heaven and put them in Christ (Col 2:9) and Christ Placed all these treasures in an earthen vessels (2Cor2:7). We are the earthen vessels with heavenly treasures, though the earthen  vessels may crack but the treasures inside is capable of preserving the vessel, with these heavenly treasure in us we do not need to wait for God to Act, rather God is waiting for us to Act (take action).
Now is the time to Arise and do exploits, Close the mouth of lions, quench the violence of fire, raise the dead back again, valiant in battle chasing thousands to flight etc. And the manifold blessings of God will be on you and overtake you now and in the world to come. Amen.

During miracle Night service This woman was healed from a painful blockage in her abdomen  and severe pain over her body. She felt something move out of her body as the power of God hit her. Before her labour time began all medical effort to calm her BP. Proves abortive. During her labour time when the BP is so high and the doctor has prepared the theater to carry out the operation even part of the bill ( for the operation) has been paid. Then we prayed in the hospital before she went in, i gave her the word of God and what the revealed, "  You will put to bed in peace without operation , you are carrying your child without complications...." She believed . As she went in, the doctor was surprised before he could start the baby is already coming out, the HIGH BP COULD NOT STOP GOD, so she put to bed safely without operation and carry her child without complications. There  are two kinds of man in a man's life. Controlling the entire course of your life. The old man and the new man. One has power over the other depending on state of the man.
the old man is Satan's point of contact. We have this message in two sub topic :

1. PUTTING OFF THE OLD MAN. 

The old man is the old life..
The old man is the body of sin...
The old man represents  the old conversation...
It doesn't care who you are, it subject to bondage of different kinds as long as you allow him to exist..
It carry along with it every form of failures, disappointment, life of problems.
He makes you not to take your Christian faith seriously..
It steal your hunger for
It kills your zeal for God, love for God, faith in God filling you with every doubt, reasons and excuses.
A man who live like this doesn't receive anything from God. And doesn't go far in life.



Ephesians 4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

the new man is the new life in Christ.
The New man is renewed in the knowledge of God.
The New man is created in the image and likeness of God. Gen 3:
The image of God is the image of righteousness and true holiness.
Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

1. Be in Christ. LIVING THE CHRISTIAN LIFE.
ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST INTO YOUR LIFE.

Give your testimony for Christ and tell others what he has done for you.

When Jesus wanted to choose His first 12 disciples, He did not choose the best men in the school of rabbi nor men of formal education , they were not Men of class but ordinary fisher Men, local men and tax collector, etc. BUT WHEN THEY MET JESUS THEY WERE TRANSFORMED BY HIS WORDS AND BECAME DISCIPLES AND WHEN THE HOLY GHOST FIRE CAME UPON THEM, THEY BECAME APOSTLES . Our first inspirational interview is with Athena Dean Holtz. A Christian publisher, speaker, author, blogger, radio personality and pastor's wife, Athena's latest book is Full Circle: Coming Home to the Faithfulness of God.

1. What are your favorite Scriptures that help you manage your emotions and why?

• "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with gratitude, make your requests known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will protect your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus" (Phil. 4:6-7)
• "May all my enemies be ashamed and greatly terrified; may they turn back and be suddenly ashamed" (Ps. 6:10).

Both of these Scriptures provide next steps in order for us to focus on Christ to manage our emotions. Each one gives us something to do.

Instead of being anxious, pray with thanksgiving, trusting Him to answer those prayers and take care of the situation that is causing us to be anxious.

As we obey Him in this small step, His peace guards our hearts and minds. Although the situation may not change, He is faithful to teach us to trust Him for the outcome that will glorify Him best.

I know one of my weaknesses is to assume the worst. When my emotions start ruling my world, it's time to be still. To slow down. To focus on the one who loves me more than life itself.

As I do that, I am able to take my thoughts captive and remember that my God is sovereign. Nothing happens to me that He doesn't know about. I can trust Him.

2. What are three of your best tips to help others manage their emotions in godly ways?

• Understand that the enemy prowls around, like a roaring lion, seeking who he might devour. Put on your armor, every day.  Speak out loud as in the statements below:

Today, I put on the belt of truth. Lord, help me to speak only the truth today (Eph. 6:14).

I put on the breastplate of righteousness, that my heart might be right before You (Eph. 6:14).

I shod my feet in the gospel of peace, that I might go wherever You send me today (Eph. 6:15).

I lift up the shield of faith to protect me from every fiery darts of the evil one (Eph. 6:16).

I put on the helmet of salvation, which is the mind of Christ. Lord, let me have Your thoughts today (Eph. 6:17).

I take up the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, sharper than any two-edged sword. Help me to use that sword against every lie of the evil one that comes my way today (Eph. 6:17).

And I pray in the Spirit when I need to talk to You today (Eph. 6:18).

Thank You, Lord, that You don't leave me unprotected, but give me Your glory as a rear guard (Is.  58:8).

And so, I choose the will of God, and I refuse the will of Satan. (Is. 7:14-15).

Spirit of God, rule and reign in my life (Ps.51:10).

Rule and reign in my thoughts, my attitudes, my emotions, my feelings (2 Cor. 10:5).

In every area, Spirit of God, I seek first Your kingdom and give You permission to rule and reign (Matt. 6:33).

And I pray against every strategy of the evil one to rob my joy, faith and courage, and ask You to render every one of those unholy strategies ineffective, in the name of Jesus.

Amen (Eph. 6:10-13).

• Bathe yourself in worship music. He inhabits the praises of His people. Worshiping Him changes our perspective and softens our hearts towards Him.
• Surrender all your fears, doubts, anxieties, loneliness and every other negative emotion to Him. Tell Him how you feel. He already knows it, but He wants to hear you admit your struggle. Don't be afraid to lament. Cry out as David did, pour out your heart to Him, for He is your refuge (Ps. 62:8).

3. What sabotaging thoughts (lies) do Believers need to release that keep them in bondage to negative emotions? 

• Lie #1: God doesn't really care about you.
• Lie #2: You'll never measure up to what He expects.
• Lie #3: The world is a scary place and God isn't concerned with the details of your life

4. What are some things believers can do at the "moment of decision" when they are tempted to practice destructive behavior when emotionally upset?

• Bind every strategy of the unholy realm that would try to influence you towards destructive behavior, in Jesus' name.
• Loose the mind of Christ and His peace to flood your mind, will and emotions, in Jesus' name (Matt. 16:19).
• Turn on worship music and sing out loud.
• Surrender fully to God and ask Him to change your emotions and give you the mind of Christ.
