THE 8 HABITS OF HEALTHY LIVING
1. Stop smoking. This is by far the most important habit, as it affects almost every single one of the leading causes of death. It’s also the hardest of these habits to change. It’s not at all impossible —
2. Lose weight (if you’re overweight). This is not exactly a habit — the best habit to form to lose weight is to eat less. Or eat more of things that don’t have a lot of calories, like fruits and veggies. Being overweight is just below smoking the worst risk factor for many diseases.
3. Exercise. You don’t need me to tell you to exercise, but listen to this: lack of exercise is a major risk factor for heart disease, stroke, colon & rectal cancers, diabetes, breast cancer, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. If you don’t exercise, you’re just asking to get a major disease. It’s almost a magic pill: do a bit of exercise every day, and you get healthy. You don’t need much — start with 5 minutes a day in the morning.
4. Avoid Drinking Alcohol . Heavy drinking is one of the worst risk factors for many diseases. That’s more than 2 drinks of alcohol a day for men, and more than 1 drink for women. A glass of red wine is a good thing, but too many and you’re greatly increasing your risk of disease.
5. Cut out red & processed meats. Eating red meats, and processed meats like sausages, bacon, canned meats and so on, is a risk factor for colon/rectal cancer, stomach cancer, and high cholesterol, which in turn is a leading risk factor for coronary heart disease and stroke. While this won’t sit well with many people, the overwhelming mass of researchsupports this.
6. Eat fruits & veggies. This is obvious, but it’s amazing how few veggies most people eat. Eating fruits and veggies reduces your risk of several leading diseases, and it’s one of the easiest habits to form. Eat a salad (without heavy dressings, bacon or other meats, croutons or cheese), add veggies to soups or veggie chili, cook up veggies as a healthy side dish with dinner or lunch. Eat fruits with breakfast and as snacks.
7. Reduce salt, and saturated/trans fats. Salt and saturated or trans fats are in so many processed or prepared foods, and they increase risks of high blood pressure and high cholesterol, which increase risk for heart disease and stroke. Despite what the Weston Price Foundation and other people on the Internet tell you, saturated fat isn’t healthy — read thesources. Note that this isn’t a controversy in the medical community, but the “harmlessness” of saturated fats is perpetuated by the diary and meat industries, and lay writers like Gary Taube. Cook your own healthy meals instead of eating out or eating prepared foods.
8. Reduce stress. Stress is a risk factor for heart disease and high blood pressure, which is itself a risk factor for stroke. Simplify your workday so that you’re not overly stressed, and exercise to relieve stress.

11 REASONS WHY PEOPLE FAIL.
Life greatest tragedy consists of men who earnestly try, and failed. The tragedy lies in the overwhelming ly large majority of of people who failed, as compared to the few who succeeded.Many analysis proved that 85% of people in the society today are classed "failures " . There are many reasons why people fail. My resent research proves that there are 11 major reasons for failure, as you go over the list check yourself by it how many of these causes of failure stand between you and success.
👉UNFAVORABLE HEREDITARY BACKGROUND.
There are people who are born with deficiency in brain power, some parts of the body, health wise.
There is but little that can be done for such people, this may not be easily corrected by the individual except through the act of God.
👉 LACK OF WELL-DEFINED PURPOSE IN LIFE.
There is no hope of success for the person who does not have a central purpose or definite goal at which to aim. Many people today have no such aim, maybe this is the major causes of failure.
👉 LACK OF AMBITION TO AIM ABOVE MEDIOCRITY.
There is no hope for the person who is so indifferent as not to want to get ahead in life, and who is not willing to pay the price.
👉INSUFFICIENT EDUCATION :
This is a handicap which can be overcome with ease . It takes more than a college degree to make one a person of education. Any person who is educated is one who has learned how to get whatever he wants without violating the rights of others.
👉 PROCASTINATION :
This is one of the most common causes of failure. Most people go through life as failures because they are waiting for the "time to be right " before they start doing something worthwhile. Do not wait.
👉 WRONG MARRIAGE PARTNER :
The relationship of marriage brings people intimately into contact . When a marriage is marked by misery and unhappiness it destroys all signs of ambition, desire and hope for success.
👉 SUPERSTITION AND PREJUDICE: Superstition is a form of fear. It is also a sign of ignorance. Men who succeed keep open mind and are afraid of nothing.
👉 WRONG BUSINESS ASSOCIATES : This is one of the most common causes of failure in business , In marketing and business services, one should select an employer who is intelligent and successful .
👉 LACK OF CAPITAL : This is the common causes of failure for those who want to start a business for the first time, not having a sufficient reserve of capital to carry them over until they establish a reputation.
👉 POSSESSION OF POWER THAT WAS NOT ACQUIRED THROUGH SELF EFFORT.

Anger or wrath is a tool In Satan's hands, He use anger to cause war, blood shed, sicknesses, failures, etc.
👉Anger made Cain the first murderer on earth, by killing his blood brother. (Genesis 4:5-8)
👉Anger made Uzziah incur leprosy, A quick judgment he would have averted if he had listened. (2chronicles 26:19)
👉Naaman almost missed his miracle due to hot temper, he felt dishonored from the prophetic direction of his healing, (2kings 5:12-14.)
👉Anger through religion, made the jews slay Stephen, and force his life to untimely grave. (Acts 7:54-58).
DEVASTATING EFFECT OF ANGER
1. Anger is dangerous to our physical bodies and spiritual life.
2.Anger creates loophole in our bodies for sickness, diseases and various forms of spiritual attacks.
3. Anger triggers the body’s ‘fight or flight’ response. Other emotions that trigger this response include fear, excitement and anxiety. The adrenal glands flood the body with stress hormones, such as adrenaline and cortisol.
The brain shunts blood away from the gut and towards the muscles, in preparation for physical exertion. Heart rate, blood pressure and respiration increase, the body temperature rises and the skin perspires. The mind is sharpened and focused.
4. Health problems with anger
The constant flood of stress chemicals and associated metabolic changes that go with recurrent unmanaged anger can eventually cause harm to many different systems of the body.
Some of the short and long-term health problems that have been linked to unmanaged anger include:headachedigestion problems, such as abdominal paininsomniaincreased anxietydepressionhigh blood pressureskin problems, such as eczemaheart attackstroke.
Unhelpful ways to deal with anger
Many people express their anger in inappropriate and harmful ways, including:
Anger explosions – some people have very little control over their anger and tend to explode in rages. Raging anger may lead to physical abuse or violence. A person who doesn’t control their temper can isolate themselves from family and friends. Some people who fly into rages have low self-esteem, and use their anger as a way to manipulate others and feel powerful.
Anger repression – some people consider that anger is an inappropriate or ‘bad’ emotion, and choose to suppress it. However, bottled anger often turns into depression and anxiety. Some people vent their bottled anger at innocent parties, such as children or pets.
WISDOM FROM GOD TO SUBDUE ANGER.
1. Slow to speak.
James 1:19 Remember this, my dear brothers and sisters: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and should not get angry easily.
2. Avoid hash or grievious words.
Proverbs 15:1 A gentle answer turns away rage, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
3. Self control.
It is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit, a Christian virtue.You need it.
2 Peter 1:5 Because of this, make every effort to add integrity to your faith; and .... to knowledge add self-control; to self-control add endurance; to endurance add godliness;
4. Put anger away.
Put away the feeling of self-regarding, vindictive anger.
Colossians 3:8 Also get rid of your anger, hot tempers, hatred, cursing, obscene language, and all similar sins.
5. Let the love of God rule your heart. Through prayers, dedication to God, studying the Bible.
1 Corinthians 13:4 Love is patient. Love is kind. Love isn't jealous. It doesn't sing its own praises. It isn't arrogant.
